Ask people to describe London and you might get responses such as “lively”, “dynamic”, “diverse”. Others might not be quite so favourable: terms such as “polluted”, “busy”, and “rude” are pretty common too. But the chances are, whether you’re pro or anti-London, most would probably agree on one thing: it’s expensive.

Everybody knows that the UK capital is one of the priciest cities in the world – with pints averaging at over a fiver each, and house prices significantly more than that, sometimes it can feel that you’ll always have to compromise on quality to be within budget in London, or even that the city is off-limits full stop.

But that’s not necessarily the case, especially when it comes to office space. Now that the flexible office market is exploding, there are tonnes of options out there to suit all sizes, industries, tastes – and most importantly, budgets.

That’s why we’ve rounded up a list of workspaces for every budget in not only London, but Zone 1:

Alternatively, use our handy calculator to estimate the budget you should be allocating to your office depending on the area you’d like to be in.

Under £100 pp/month

Office: Workspace – Greville Street

Private office: 34 desks for £3,231/month

, but think of this as an advantage – you can kit it out and brand it just how you want!

It’s worth noting that in Central London, whilst you can find office space at lower prices, you will remain somewhat limited. The old adage location, location, location, holds true and often you are paying for your postcode. Move a little further out, and London is your oyster. Zones 2+ are full of innovative workspaces in up-and-coming areas.

£100-£150 pp/month

Step up your budget a little, and you’ll start to see the options increase.
