Beautiful 300 year-old church whose history includes Charles Dickens and the matchstick girls (Annie Besant and Eleanor Marx-Aveling)
Hanbury Hall is a coworking space in and amongst the history and creative buzz of Brick Lane and Spitalfields. A welcoming, kind atmosphere to work in. Downstairs is a cafe, serving unlimited barista coffee, tea, and chai and hot-desking. Upstairs hosts our secure resident desks where members can leave there monitors and devices.
A work space with a story to tell, it has been part of the history of social reform and change in East London. If the walls could talk, they would speak of Charles Dickens reading his own works from our stage or Annie Besant and Eleanor Marx-Aveling rallying the matchstick girl meetings at Hanbury Hall to plan protests of poor working conditions. We want others to be inspired by the beauty and history of the space. Welcoming all creatives, freelancers, digital nomads, we are full of familiar faces, a community of like minded individuals doing good in the world and building things which last!
This building also has offices, meeting rooms and coworking desks to book on-demand.
