With an increasing number of businesses now considering more flexible working policies for their teams, many are now seeking new ways of taking office space that give their employees the freedom to work however best suits them.

In our recent “Should we ditch the office?” survey, we discovered that a staggering 86% of employees would like to work remotely at least once a week—but only 15% would want to do so every single day. 71% also felt that their company should definitely still have an office, with 22% remaining undecided. As such, it’s no surprise that the majority of businesses will still need some form of physical office presence in the future. 

Nevertheless, the forecasted increase in remote working means that the traditional “one desk per employee” office is no longer always the most cost-efficient.
