Give Your Employees Access to Workspace Closer to Home

Though working from home has been hugely successful for many employees, there’s no doubt that there are some who dislike it.

For many, the home simply doesn’t provide a healthy and productive work environment. Too much noise, too little space, too negative an impact on work-life balance…there are many reasons why a significant proportion of employees are eager to work somewhere other than their kitchen table.

WFH-blog-header-bigThen again, the commute remains a big concern for many—one of the main reasons why many workers are hesitant to return to the office is a reluctance to use public transport; busy trains, tubes and buses increase the risk of infection.

And, Covid aside, a huge 79.3% of respondents in our Should we ditch the office? survey said that the lack of commute was actually the one of the best things about working from home. The gains made in time and money mean that many are reluctant to resume long, busy, expensive journeys to and from their central HQ any time soon.

The result: a big increase in demand for workspace closer to employees’ homes. But as an employer, how do you address this?

Workspaces with multi-location access

A number of London’s most popular office providers are making this easy, by giving business tenants access to any of the workspaces in their portfolio.

The deal is simple: when your business signs up to any of the workspaces below, your employees can access any of their buildings around London.

Some also have sites elsewhere in the UK, and even around the world—so if you have a distributed workforce, you can give them access to convenient and flexible workspace, free of charge and free of hassle.
