Summary
Welcome to the important building of the former Brno Industrial Bank, which has been in operation for over 150 years, and was built by Eduard Exner according to Arnold Weber's project in the style of historicism. Onyx tiles and unique marble can only be found here and in well-known villas in Brno. In addition, the medieval city walls pass through the summer garden, as Rooseveltova Street was formerly Schwedengasse, Hradební, Na hradbách. The unique house is even 10 years older than Mahen's theater and 30 years later than the Palace of Justice, it survived the bombing in 1944 (in contrast to Wiesner's Café Esplanade building opposite, where Janáček's theater was built after 1960).
