Recycled from the 2012 Olympic Broadcasting Studios at Stratford Olympic Park, Clipper House is the fourth Container City project at Trinity Buoy Wharf. It provides 13 workspaces, all with amazing riverside views.
In 2012, London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games needed a broadcasting studio on the Olympic site in Stratford, and commissioned Container City to design and build it. Standing 9 storeys high, it was at the time the tallest shipping container building in the world.
As well as being quick to build, Container City buildings can be quickly dismantled for use elsewhere. When the Olympic Broadcasting Studio was no longer needed, the building was dismantled and the containers used to build Clipper House at Trinity Buoy Wharf.
The workspaces it provides are varied, large and small, just as in the other buildings at Trinity Buoy Wharf. Clipper House is a home to Uber Boat by Thames Clippers and other tenants
