After spending a very long time looking for suitable building, the good chaps at TeamPie stumbled upon this masterpiece right next to the Google Campus in Shoreditch/Old Street.
Mat Kemp who designed the space describes it as a semi-industrial type of feel, perfect for energetic individuals and teams looking for the perfect launchpad for their startup.
Kemp was keen to respect the print and rag trade history of the building and reflected this in the honest and exposing fabric of the interior. Expect tin desks, quirky chairs and Scandinavian furniture reminiscent of the 1950s and 60s. No fake lights, just exposed electrics and galvanised conduits.
Workhouse One is the perfect art-deco Bauhaus for your next startup business to grow in.
Many small businesses want weird and wonderful perks in their workspace, but Workhouse One nails down what you really need. The lovely team also help make introductions to other businesses in the space – collaboration is at the heart of the workspace.
