Yes, you heard right. Dell (yes, the real Dell, not a namesake) is looking for its next “Startup-in-Residence.”
This lucky company will benefit from free office space for a year, access to Dell technology, support from Dell global leaders, mentors and marketing teams (covered in the press).
Becoming Dell’s “Startup-in-Residence” is a dream come true for most startups, especially those focusing on hardware and SaaS in the enterprise space. Last year’s lucky winners were:
- Fantoo (creating the future of email & enterprise collaboration) – gone on to raise more than $1m in funding
- Inovar (Business Intelligence Solutions) – already revenue-generating and raised c.$240k in funding
What’s the catch?
Not much of a catch. The Dell office space is based in Bracknell (an hour drive and train ride away from Central London). However, we believe most startups would agree that the benefits of being incubated by Dell far outweigh not being based in Central London.
Awesome, how do I apply?
Simple, you have until 31st March to apply, completing this application form.
Applications will be reviewed by a panel of senior leaders at Dell including Tim Griffin and Sarah Shields, executive director and general manager, Dell UK, with finalists then invited to a short live pitch at Dell House in Bracknell.
The winning startup will take up residency at the Dell offices in September, 2015.
Good luck!
