What a year it has been. From freelancers in need of hot desks to established companies looking for private offices, we’ve found new homes for hundreds of businesses in 2017.
And said clients certainly weren’t lacking in choice. Over the course of this year alone, we’ve added almost 30,000 new desks to our platform; so whether our clients’ priorities lay in investor networks and event spaces or beer on tap and beanbags, we had all bases covered.
But the big question is: which spaces have our audience been lusting after the most?
To find out, we’ve scoured the data and put together this list of our top ten most viewed listings this year – and the results have highlighted some interesting trends. Though the spaces are by no means similar, there are some parallels to be drawn amongst them: notably in terms of their location and…lighting?
The first is not surprising: by far the most popular location amongst our top ten was the Moorgate/Shoreditch area; which was to be expected given the proliferation of startups in East London in the past couple of years. The second, however, was slightly less obvious. Our audience were looking for specifically bright, green spaces.
We think we know why – and the reason isn’t purely aesthetic. A well-lit, colourful office full of plants has been hailed as a catalyst for productivity, and just a glance at the photographs below and it’s evident that offices are increasingly taking this into account.
What’s clear to see is that the spaces featured here aren’t just premises, rather tools in perfecting the way that businesses function, create and evolve. People want offices that they want to spend time in, that make them want to go to work…where people clock-watch at home instead. So without further ado, here’s our round-up of the ten most popular spaces on the HubbleHQ platform this year: enjoy!
1. The Dock, E1W
Topping this prestigious list is The Dock: the stunning, industrial-styled home to some of the UK’s most exciting tech, marketing and gaming startups. Located in the heart of Tobacco Dock’s vaults, this office space is as much a historical legacy as it is a hub of rich and diverse businesses. As well as benefitting from its superb amenities and fantastic location by Tower Bridge, members also have access to an exciting events programme encompassing everything from development sessions to fitness classes.
It’s not hard to see why The Dock was this year’s most viewed space on HubbleHQ. Take it a step further and book a viewing today.
2. Airspace – Soho, W1D
The flexible workspace provider Airspace rank at a mighty second in our top ten. This comes as no surprise either – with their hot desks, fixed desks and private offices satisfying such a huge range of criteria. Airspace’s philosophy is that affordability should not mean a compromise on design or service – no mean feat in super-central London. But by some miracle they’ve achieved it: offering cool, high-quality workspace at reasonable prices just a minute’s walk from Tottenham Court Road station.
As if that weren’t enough, you can take your pets. And there’s free beer. Need we go on? Nab your space now.
3. 25 Finsbury Circus, EC2M
On the podium at number 3 is 25 Finsbury Circus. Located in one of the most sought-after parts of town, this top-notch space is another provider of all office types, making it an excellent choice for a variety of different businesses. This has resulted in a diverse and exciting community that spans the building’s four floors, comprising companies in media, tech and professional services. It’s also just been newly-decorated, which is never a bad thing.
4. Workhouse One, EC2A
At number 4 is this bold and bright option in the heart of trendy Shoreditch. Aside from its location and design, another of Workhouse One’s greatest assets is the wealth of contacts and knowledge it offers its members through a thriving community and comprehensive investor network. On top of this, it’s also serviced: taking heaps of hassle away from the running of the office.

Huckletree – Alphabeta appears on our list in a highly respectable 5th position. Offering both desks and offices, this space places a huge emphasis on modern design – understandable, given that Huckletree is full of fearless, creative tech types. In their own words:
“If you’re incredibly ambitious, want to grow quickly, have the modesty to admit you’ll need the support of others combined with the conviction that you’re going to be win, and you’re not a d*ck… We’re probably the place for you.”

Finishing our list is Finsbury Business Centre, yet another fan of the flora and the hustle and bustle of an E postcode.
